Methodology
Every Verdica Score is a weighted composite of three independently calculated sub-scores, each derived from official USDA public records. No proprietary data, no user submissions, no black boxes.
Composite Score
The final Verdica Score is a weighted average of three sub-scores. Each sub-score operates on the same 300–850 scale. The weights reflect the relative importance of each factor in predicting counterparty risk in produce transactions.
Scores are recalculated weekly when new data is ingested. Historical scores are preserved to show trends over time. All data is sourced from USDA PACA licensee records.
Sub-Scores
